Do I need to buy all the books suggested by you - Are you kidding me

I received various emails and messages on social media about the books I have recommended for the preparation for SSC exams. Actually I have prepared the list of books and put them in a box in the right sidebar by titling it "Best SSC Books in one box".

One of the most common questions I have been asked by candidates is the most stupidest questions that you can hear from any person who is preparing for any competitive exam. It goes like this:
  • Do I need to buy all the books suggested by you?
  • Is it enough to buy Quantum Cat and Lucent GK as I can solve other topics easily because I have given xyz bank exam?
  • How about if I buy second hand books?
  • I have xyz books from abc author which was recommended by the 'PAPPU' studying with me in the coaching centre.
And I am like seriously. You are preparing for a real Central Government Job exam and you are asking questions like you are studying in class 6th or 7th. If you have same questions in your mind then you really need to take a deep breath right now.

I mean, when you have 4 different topics in your syllabus, of-course you will require 4 different books for the individual preparation of each topic. It is common sense. Yeah, if your are thinking of giving SSC CGL or CHSL as a trial then I think you should do something else my boy.

We are in a serious game and that is called getting a central government job. If you really want to crack SSC CGL or any other SSC exam then you will need to do everything that is required by its preparation. You should have knowledge of:
  • Exam that you want to give
  • Complete understanding of the syllabus
  • BUY all the books.... Of-course how you are going to crack the exam
  • Time Management
  • Hard Work
  • And finally remember me for reminding you the importance of books
